Guided Tours

Visit the Vienna University Observatory on the occasion of a guided tour! This is what you may expect:

  • the Great Grubb Refractor, Austria's largest lens telescope
  • the impressive observatory building, constructed by the famous architect Ferdinand Fellner in 1874-80
  • Every second Friday each month: a public science talk
  • upon request: the institute's museum
