Polychronis Papaderos is currently giving a lecture on "The assembly history of galaxies".

Polychronis Papaderos is currently giving a lecture on "The assembly history of galaxies".

His main research interests are: the assembly history of galaxies and their structural components, origin and implications of starburst activity, dwarf galaxies, accretion-powered nuclear activity and the co-evolution of SMBHs with their galaxy hosts, production and escape of Lyman radiation, integral field spectroscopy, evolutionary and population spectral synthesis.

Short CV: PhD and Habilitation at University of Göttingen, research at Observatoire de Meudon, UC Santa Cruz, MPIfR/Bonn, Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía/Granada, Stockholm University and Uppsala University. Leader of the Group "Galaxies, Cosmology, and the Evolution of the Universe" at Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences (Portugal).
