Exoplanetary Atmospheres

The exoplanet atmospheres group is aimed at answering the questions "What are exoplanet atmospheres made up of? And are any of them habitable?" To answer these questions our group uses observations, numerical modelling and machine learning of exoplanets and their host stars.

Research focus

  • Exoplanet atmospheric characterization: observations and modelling
  • Star planet interaction: stellar high energy radiation and exoplanet upper atmospheres
  • Stellar magnetic field and activity: high-resolution spectroscopy, stellar wind modelling
