On May 7, the University of Vienna Observatory team participated in the Wings for Life Run.

11 runners from 9 different countries ran together a distance of 102 km! We congratulate our international team on this great achievement and are very happy that Team Sternwarte was represented at the run!

The Wings for Life run

The Wings for live run is a worldwide race where 100% of the entry fees are donated to spinal cord research. This year, more than 200,00 people ran worldwide. The run has been held annually since 2014 and is open to elite athletes, amateur runners, beginners, and even wheelchair users. Everyone runs until they are caught up by the Catcher Car. The motto is "Together we run for those who can't."
